GS PS TD
Fig. 1 Kids Dunks come in three runs: GS, PS and TD.

Short answer

GS (grade school) is big kids, 1Y to 7Y. PS (preschool) is little kids, 8C to 3Y. TD (toddler) is baby and toddler, 1C to 10C. Those ranges come from Nike’s kids size chart, which puts big kids at about ages 7 to 12, little kids at 3 to 7 and baby and toddler at 0 to 3. Kids versions of a colorway have different style codes from the adult pair.

PSLittle kids8C to 3Y5 15/16 to 8 9/163 to 7
TDBaby and toddler1C to 10C3 9/16 to 6 9/160 to 3

The groups overlap (8C to 10C and 1Y to 3Y appear in two groups), so go by foot length. Leave about a thumb’s width at the toe for growth.

Questions people ask

What does GS mean on Dunks?

Grade school: Nike’s big kids sizes, 1Y to 7Y. A GS 7Y matches a men’s 7 in foot length (9 11/16 inches on Nike’s charts).

Why does the kids version have a different style code?

Each size run is its own product. The Hyper Cobalt Dunk Low, for example, is DD1391-001 in men’s, with separate GS, PS and TD codes. Search the kids code to find the right listing.

Do kids Dunks have the same materials as adult pairs?

Not always. Kids pairs can use different leather or lining. Check the listing description for the exact code.
